Emply your pockets its big money this.

A 2.0 engine is a better staing point.
I think the S1600 have forged bottom ends so that £6k before you look at throttle bodies £3k ish plus cams (£1k ish). Then the gearbox won't stand much abuse so you need to look at that plus the clutch.

Yep its been done before but for they money its not worth it there much better ways to more power.

There one been done in portugula and one in Spain I think. The Spainish one was done year ago as a magazine feature the owner got so fed up they bought a 172 in the end (the job wasn't done to well it had a 5th injectro instead of uprated ones etc) the portugest ans't been finish fully yet. A german compnay made a superchrage kit 210hp I think but it was £5 or £6k.
