Should imagine they would be very rapid as they will weight next to nothing ! Suppose who is driving it too !

Not too sure top speed, but straight line mph 0-60 4.9, 0-100 6.5 secs....The rice pudding would have the bowl taken away....

yup, S1600 regulations state that the max build cost for the car is US$100,000. Supposedly to keep costs down, and it works!

Comapred to 1/4 mil WRC cars.

I would guess the S1600 would be geared for about 120mph or less.

you can buy a cup racer for £9k if you are interested. the only problem is that you may not be able/willing to pay the min £10/20k a year it takes to maintain/run the car on track.

Im doubtful too.I know there nippy but i doubt theyd beat a maclaren f1 to 100 mph
