yup, S1600 regulations state that the max build cost for the car is US$100,000. Supposedly to keep costs down, and it works!

Comapred to 1/4 mil WRC cars.
 


On the renaul sport website theyve got all the stats, its got 220 bhp and weighs 850 kg so its gonna be pretty rapid
 


you can buy a cup racer for £9k if you are interested. the only problem is that you may not be able/willing to pay the min £10/20k a year it takes to maintain/run the car on track.

Im doubtful too.I know there nippy but i doubt theyd beat a maclaren f1 to 100 mph
