super slow internet, help

ive got tiscalli broadband and its running at 2.2mbps, or at least thats what it says when it connects, lately its became really really slow, ive done some tests online with various speedchecker websites and it says im getting 55.9k?! all the pages im going on are taking forever to load up, (i know its not just this one) is there anyway to speed it up?

have u tried resetting ur modem? sometimes they mess up and a reset fixes it. If not have to phone them

my dad has got exctly the same problem, we are on 5.5mb here and a lot of the time hes only getting 0.5mb

PISS POOR!!!!

I would deffo phone them up and go nuts on the phone threaten to take them to traiding standards and say you will stop your payments and take them to court for breach of contract....

That should give them a swift kick in the ass

this seems more and more common, soon it seems every isp will be traffic shaping nothing we can do about it, unless we start paying extreme amounts each month we gonna be stuck with slow internet.

tiscalli seem to have a lot of connectivity issues at the moment. as a company we have many of their customers on our site they are all complaining about not being able to connect or play.

My blueyonder has been running so slow too. Phoned them up they supposedly reset some stuff but it's still just as bad. Downloading programs, the speed is fine but internet pages are worse than when I had dial-up. Lots of pages take up to a minute to fully load.

I'm on 4mb blueyonder.

If your going to go for a cheap crap ISP you can't expect it to reliable.
