supercharged 16v

Bets do a search there has been a S/C 16V but the job as far as I remember wasnt fnished so I hink it was a personal job rather than a company deal. Bets have a look on the saxo forums as to which companies do fitment of there S/C work and ring them up to see if they can do/ have done a 16V.

Theres a S/C Dimma on eBay the the moment.. could email the seller?
dimma wouldnt have done the engine and the seller is not the original owner as i seen it for sale a few years ago too. bummer

The easiest solution would be a roots type blower as you incorporate it into an inlet manifold, meaning you dont have to find extra space for plumbing and a compressor style blower. You junk the inlet manifold and have more space.

I remember seeing one, but nothing else soz.

ever heard of a company doing it though.

Yeah a roots would be a good idea, but looking at all the ones Ive seen in between both banks of a big V8 and stuff, how on earth would you find the clearance for it even if you did ditch the existing inlet manifold? You cant get a fag paper between the top of the manifold and the bonnet skin and theres no clearance really in front either?

The saxo ones are done by GMC motorsport. Theyre Rotrex superchargers and cost around £1900-2000 for the basic kit. Theres loads of info on the Rotrex site, and also look on http://www.needforspeed.co.ukwww.needforspeed.co.uk as they sell em.

The basic kit is a DIY job if you are daring enough. GMC will also put in crankcase breathers and lower the compression etc. Dont know anymore other than that, but always liked the idea of them myself.

depends how much boost you run, how much you flow, your static and dynamic CR, your cam profiles.....etc etc.

ut 200bhp should be easy enough.

wat else would need uprating? clutch gearbox etc? anythin?

would a roots style fit then? and how does it work then, where would it run off the belts? etc. explain please master
