Supercharger Options?

Hi everyone, was just wondering if anyone who has gone down the charger route has used any other charger rather than the Rotrex? thanks in advance.

i have mate just cant seem to find any builds other than rotrex, gotta be a cheaper option..

It's not a cheap option anyway mate.

i know mate gonna do all the work myself but gonna buy in bits or second hand to make it cheap as possible, new rotrex chargers are nearly £1500.

Yes. Merc mp62 has been used

Rotrex chargers are great bits of kit, but I agree they are expensive and worse still they are fragile and not trivial to rebuild (in fact official line is just buy new)


Ph1 Tom, got some links to the merc one? Must need to re-arrange things at the front a fair bit to get that in as they are quite big.

Yes. Merc mp62 has been used

I forgot about those. Theres a vid on you tube with a 197 that has one fitted, the build was done somewhere in europe. They sound great.

thats the sort of thing i was looking at but does look a fair bit more work and relocating but does look really good, cheers for link.
