Superguard

The Dealer offerd me this wax/polish when I put in an order for my new car the other day. I've told him i'll let him know closer to the time when I pick the car up.

I've heard mixed reviews about it and just wondered if any of you lot have had it applied. Does it do the job or is it just a waste of money and stick with Meguairs, etc, etc?

The Dealer quoted me £99 for the exterior and interior. :S

  Not got a car
I had my exterior done on the 172 and i was impressed with it, there was always a nice gloss to the paint after washing. Its just not as simple as Mequirs, Superguard last for years.

I will be getting the 182 done when i have finished with a few other bits.

I used to apply it as a Renault Valeter then sell it as a Renault Saleman and think its excellent stuff - at the right price!

I know a few dealers that charge over £500 for it! I won't ruin it for dealers completely and post what we buy it in for but we used to pay the parts dept £70 per kit, £75 if it was a leather pack

£99 is a very good price and its defo worth that amount any day

One poo thing is the 'sealant' you get in the aftercare pack - this is like glue, I wouldn't recommend using it at all

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback.

The interior side of it sounds quite good too protecting from spilliages, etc.

Or £5 off ebay :p

Stay away at all costs!

Its just another sealant that will last at best afew months given the very poor level of car prep at any dealership!

Just buy some collinite wax for £15 - £20 and a few coats will last you months!

  Clio 172 Cup
I used to sell it for £35+vat through my old place.

Came in a 3 piece kit, we charged £199+vat applied.

It was good stuff if put on right.
