Suspension fitment questions

Can anyone help me here. Is the difference between a 172 cup mk1 suspension setup and a 182 cup suspension the bolt spacing on the hub? Thanks in advance.

Yes they are different Rick. Only the 182 Cup and Trophy share the same hub spacings.

Also the 182 Cup ran different (firmer) shockers I believe.

How about the phase 1 172 and the phase 2 172 cup? Different still? Looking to buy myself a cheap 172 to use as a track car and the 172 cup phase 2 makes a lot of sense.

I think the ph1 172 and ph2 172 share the same suspension, but again the ph2 Cup is different (bolt spacings).

ph1 172, 172, 172 cup and 182 all use the same

182cup, trophy and cup packed 182 use the same.
