suspension help

Done a few searches and havent really come up with a solid answer, basically i want to lower my mk2 172 with the option of being able to adjust the ride height front & rear when i feel like it but i dont want to comprimise the ride too much, all these years of hard springs/ride has done my head in plus i dont want to make my car any more rattly than it is, but also dont want the problem of setting up the camber etc not to good with this sort of thing and to be honest not that fussed about it, but if its not adjusted will i suffer with tyre wear etc? cheers in advance.

adjusting camber doen't involve more than a trip to the dealer.. what's the problem?

Once the car is setup for camber when the suspension is fitted and ride height sorted if you higher or lower the car the camber will need redoing again.

this is the problem having to keep adjusting the camber each time i lower or higher it any other option? and whats the ride like on not stupidly low coilovers?

You don't adjust coiovers though realy unless you have good reason to.

Ride depends on spring rate, kit used etc.

suppose thats true i was looking into some h&r coilovers want a decent set not some naf ones, do the h&r have adj spring rate etc? sorry not really that clued up on this. thinking getting coilovers adjusting to my required height and then taking to a specialist to set the rest up, sound viable?

H and R do a few spec levels there basic stuff is very good though.

you can change the spring on the coilovers though yep there a normal type of spring.

sounds a good idea though but some people prefere to let speciailiast set the car up cover weight etc I don't see the huge point but it your paying to have it fitted for the extra not a bad idea (corner weight isn't that important though)
