Suspension Problem?

Whenever I go over a speed bump I can here a pretty loud sort of creaking sound (like when you bounce on something if that makes sense:S)
I was wondering if this was somthing to do with the springs or shocks?

its probably a damper mate, its one of them things to me u cant tell until you hear it lol
