Suspension question

t0m

  Megane 225 Turbo
Looking to lower the 1.2 at least make it look faster than it is, so the question I need to know is how low can I go, safely, on standard shocks. And also, If I were to purchase 16" replacement alloys whats the lowest, or maybe even 17"s. Basically I'm one of those guys who likes to be well within the realms of safety so if anyone can give me some figures and tips on how low to go with a variety of sized wheels that would be much appreciated, cheers!

Stock dampers arn't that good best get mathing dampers and springs and if preferably coilovers and you can go as low as you want realy.
FK coilover will let you lower the car so that the wheel cracks the arches at the front and destroys your arch liner at the fornt and destroy your arch liner at the back if you want.
With custom springs you can go very low but shocks life will be reduced Freds off here had some custom springs fitted to his mates car and it survived for a few k before he chnaged (not sure if he got coilovers in the end).
