Suspension top mount

I need some help in removing the top suspension nut and I was wondering If anyone will now how to take It off,The problem is the hole for the hex socket on the suspension is rounded and everytime I try and turn the top nut the supspension moves so anyone know how to take the nut off.

Spray a load of WD40 in the cup unitil it half fills it, leave it over night and try again. worked for me.

already done that but what I want to know is how do I slacken the nut with out the strut piston rod turning as the allen key hole on the piston is rounded and doesnt grip anymore.

Put the spanner/socket on and give it a good sharp dunt with your hand to shock the nut loose or use an air powered ratchet similar to what they use at tyre centres.

yea, they come off dead easy with a impact wrench.
