Ok so after FCS ive had a weird feeling in the steering but thought nothing of it until maybe a week or so ago, and had a look and the shock looked F**Ked! Got some koni front shocks in the post today took the old ones off to find the below

When fitted the, new shocks seem higher? Ive never noticed the below so can you tell me if this is normal!? :S They are in there rock solid though so cant think what it would be.

Surely it should be flat on the turret top??

We need a mechanical geek here... lol

Nope they sick up a bit anyway as they should. The 172's had the issue that they didn't and they touch at the back hence the strut mod often talked about ground away a bit of material so they didn't catch.
