swirl pot

hi there, does anyone know for defo if the phase 1 172 has an inbuilt in the tank swirl pot? when low on fuel after exiting long right handers on track i get fuel starvation. am wondering if i need to fit one on the boot. or if the later 182 tank has one could i fit one of them?

They have one fitted as standard its EFI after all.

However check it the pump can get foam etc stuck around it on corners leading to fuel starvation issue.

does this happen all the time or just when your carrying less fuel?

Its not technically a swirl pot though is it?

The fuel return from the engine does go into a container that the pump sits in, nicely designed and compact.
