Symptoms of a leaking shock?

  Nimbus Clio 197
what would be the effect on a card handling? my back left shock is leaking oil, so i'm gonna need to replace it.....but what sort of difference would this make to handling?

also, is this covered on warranty??

try taking it round a roundabout in the wet,i had a dodgy back shock and anything over 15mph and the thing would spin it was lethal

Depends how far gone it is - I drove 3500 miles around Europe with a leaky shock on my M Roadster, didn't notice any bad effects.

lol.....could have been worse then mike! mind you, we're talking about a Renault here, shonky all the way round!

SO....it might make the handling kind of inaccurate? even in a straight line?

very very much doubt it'll be a warranty job, but its very easy to replace yourself

Should be covered under warentl as they shouldn't fal.
£40 an a few minuts (only two bolts needed to be undone and no jacking ) to swop them over.
