tail gate not staying up

My tail gate wont stay up when lifted, is there a simple fix for this?

new lifter things i'm guessing.

Get a new pair of tailgate struts or just replace the knackered one, be warned though its quite suprising how heavy it is when you remove them - swap one at a time.

go to your local scrappy(Breakers yard) im sure you will get a set for £20 or less haggle with them lol
