I have recently bought myself a ff 182 in BG off the forum. I have loads of little ideas for the car but want to get all the practical bits out of the way first.
Firstly i had a look under the seats and found puddles
I have heard this is a common problem and have put some powder down to try and find the source.
Also i was driving the other day and the car behaved a bit erratically when cornering over bumps, Like the back end was going to step out........ So i was straight back on the forum searching for answers. Again this seems others have experienced this too, rear dampers was the main suggestion but i believe the car has had a set fitted recently.
There was an advisory on the car for a light misting of oil on the front dampers but i wouldnt have thought that would lead to the back end being unstable :S Any suggestions??
The other thing i wanted was a spare key, as the car only came with one, Can you get a key without the fob attached?? (a bit skint at the moment)
Apart from the few little bits and bobs i am chuffed to bits with the car, Handles like a dream on a smooth road and have already seen 40mpg twice out of it.
I will add some pictures once i have cleaned it over the weekend
