how do i change the side lights on a 172 mk2 please

with EXTREME difficulty!! passenger side u just take the rubber protector off the back of the light, twist the bulb holder and it pops out! 2 min job, the drivers side is very, very hard, took me about 45 mins just because theres no room in there! I needed tweezers in the end?! good luck!
