Tapping ... Lifter?

Have got a really loud tapping coming from the engine. I have spent a couple of hours reading threads and watching videos :dead: and from what I have seen/heard I think it might be a lifter sticking, but I am not sure.

It became quite tappety when I last changed the oil, Changed it in the normal way and used the correct oil. The oil that came out was pretty dirty but there didn't appear to be any metal in it. The new oil seems to have got dirty pretty quickly this time, much quicker than it did after the last change, im not sure if this is relevant, but its just an observation.

The tapping noise follows the engine speed and appears to be coming from the "centre" of the engine, not belt side etc... This makes me think that its not the dephaser pulley?

Obviously the best cause of action would be to take it to a specialist and get it looked at but until I start earning this isn't really a possibility, so do you think it is worth trying some " Forte's top end treatment" or an engine flush (have read these can sometimes cause more harm than good) along with an oil change again?

Another problem I have is I need my car and don't have access to another one so I am still driving it around and hoping it aint doing to much damage!:(

Any help or advice would be much appreciated,
Thanks,
Will

p.s. I will try and get a video up soon as possible!

Okay, got a quick video. Taken with my phone and it seems to make it sound a bit diffrent than in person. There is a wining noise, but I can't hear that in person and the tapping noise seems a lot quieter in the video than it does in person ...

Got another video to see if it helps? Has anyone got any ideas what it could be?

SORTED, all thanks to Birchdown!

Turns out some fool had cross threaded a spark plug, and air was leaking past it, sounded like tapping, but was actually air. It's technically not fixed but is working as it should again and will be fine until I can afford for an engineering company to somehow get the old plug out and then re-tap the thread. The plug just spins in place so it could be an pain to get out!
