taxing a sorn car

right i declared my valver off road

while it went for a rework

thats taken me 3months odd

now i want to tax it again as soon as i reinsure it



how do i go about it?

do ijust go to the post office with the insurance certificate and the money!?

Go to the Post Office and theres a form apparently...

My R5 is currently SORN but Ill be getting it taxed again soon.

sorry to butt in, but if i want to sorn my car do i just cross the red box on the remidner they send me for taxing it, then sign it and take it to the post office or what ?? never had to do it before. Cheers.:D
 


Yeah Dean, taxed it right there.

I assume the form goes off and just updates their system so they dont think its off-road any more.

You need to go into the post office with your V5 Registration Document, Insurance Certificate, MOT and pick up and fill out a form. Its called a V10.

The V10 gets sent to the DVLA which then cancels the SORN declaration.
