TB’s on my 1.2 16v

Ah gotcha, had me wondering for a second, i never realised a new TB could have that much potential on such a small engined car...

ponders the potential on a 1.4 8v energy engine ;)

not only strength we could chuck in thermal efficiency.

Capacity is more or less meaningless up to a point. In forced induction engines capacity is meanigless, its all mechanical strength and thermal efficiency, thus the 1.5 litre 1500bhp turbo engines from F1 in the 80s.

To get 120 from a 1.2 your gonna have to run the BMEPs pretty high, which you can achieve either by upping the revs or getting a high CR.

Forces are usually more than a third of a ton on the rod. Rods are also rated in cylces. Rods would be fine if they only had one force to deal with but they have two, tension and compression, thus cycles. You can improve a rods durabitlity by de-flashiung it etc.

TBs, multiple throttle bodies, your car has one for 4 cylinders, mulitple TBs usually means a throttle plate for each cylinder, thus 4 throttle plate son a 4 cylinder engine. Simple way to up the power a good bit, instant increase in VE throughout the range.

I said it first and added in an extra word! lol

CC stands for combustion chamber, why I added CC chamber I dont know.
