I recently removed and cleaned the TDC sensor on my Clio 1.2 (1999) as it was dirty. Refitted it and although it initially started ok it now somtimes wont start (not even a click) and this must be down to the TDC removal and refitting. If i slightly move the car (roll it forward down a hill etc) and then start the car it starts fine (even by moving it just a fraction), but its a bit silly having to do this! Apart from that it runs fine and doesnt cut out.
Have i screwed up the timing or summin by removing the TDC and refitting it? If so, how is it best fixed? And is it worthwhie buying a new TDC?
