temperature guage

my temperature guage in my 182 keeps jumping up and down n does any one no what this could be :star:

Does it go full scale when it jumps or just from normal to nothing.

If its the former, its the instrument (unlikely)
If the later, the sender unit or the connector (more likely)

it jumps from normal to really low then goes back up or stay low for a while

Temp sensor wiring or the sensor itself there always failing on the 182's

Its a warently job they replace the sensor and should sort out the wiring at the same time.
