Temperature sensor

Just got back in the clio, and the temperature display is reading 22 degrees. It pretty quickly dropped to 19, but it's freezing outside!!

The sensor is the bubble bit under the passenger side wing mirror AFAIK, so what's going on???

Sensor wiring problem or a faulty sensor.
Yep its the nipple bit under the wing mirrors.
