test drive unlimited on PS2

after playing this on a mates Xbox, I was eagerly waiting the PS2 version..

wow...still very impressed with it! graphics are not as good..but as PS2 standards go..they are very impressive..and talk about addictive..

I got home and played it..non stop...for 5.5 hours lol, had to get me a murcielago roadster, and already club president of the v12 club!

the Island is absolutely MASSIVE...it would take obver half an hour i reckon to drive from end to end! its insane!

well worth the £25 for anyone considering it..who doesnt have an Xbox that is!

Traded a load of old games in a Sat that were just gathering dust, got £22 for them all so decided to purchase TDU On the PS2. It is awsome, havent really played it that much but really impressed.

Only gripe is i cant figure out how to change it from Auto to manual, oh and it dont like the steering wheel I have LOL

yes...I want manual mode too..and there doesnt appear to be any option!! very annoying for when you just want to PIMP around in 6th lol

What I tend to find is they change gear to early, and when all you want to do is drop it down a gearto swing the car round a corner you cant.

To change to manual gears go to Free Ride, pause it and its in there under driving options (for the Xbox so I think its the same for PS2).

There is'nt a free ride option that I know of but like i said I have only really played on it for 30mins max

it isnt in the pause menu as per the 360...doesnt seem to be there at all

only thing i can think is...PS2 controller doesnt have enough buttons

I got the pc version and im hooked on it Judders a bit sometimes when something just loads but I think its just the DVD warming up or something. Plays fine ingame tho

I have also noticed that on the PS2, I cannot find ferrari dealers, or the Audi RS4 etc etc...

steve...free ride is the general game when you are not in a race

Arnt the engine sounds meant to be shocking?

Small thing but it can really spoil a game when your V8 Merc sounds like a lawnmower on speed. Especially when you have played the likes of GTR.
