Wont start! Just ticks.... All lights are going on and off each time u turn the key, Just wont turn over!!!!!!

FFS that takes the piss! How can they not work out what is wrong with it. My money is on something killing different components, something like the alternator or a voltage regulator kicking out the wrong voltage hence frying stuff.

What did they replace last time?

You want a lift to the meet tonight?

So you now have clocks that dont represent the actual milage!! that will effect the resale price and put people off!!

Sounds like a dodgy engine earth. But since there have been so many hundreds of other problems then itll be something more complicated. Time to reject it without a doubt.

Yup,

That tends to be the problem with mecchys in a big garage such as a Renault Dealership.

They dont care about the job really, because they are getting paid the same no matter what.

Its sh*te.

You should walk into your dealership, and demand that you have the problem fixed.

Demand a sheet invoice telling them exactly what the problem is, and how it was fixed for your records and inform them that you will be seeking legal advice if this problem should happen in the near future again.

If they cannot do that, then you are well within your rights to demand a replacement car of the exact specification, providing it is NOT altered from the manufactures specs and older that your original vehicle.

If you tell them that, and be authoritive, with a firm tone, and cool attitude, you will most definitley have them by the balls.

Let me know mate.

I think Id have driven it through the show room window by now. I certainly dont think Id have been able to keep my cool.

I hope you get it sorted or come to some arrangement with your dealer.

I had Rover 200Vi a long time ago.....6 months old and an incurable oil leak. In the end I told them I wasnt coming back for it and was going to keep the 416 they had given me as a courtesy car. It took some doing, but they fixed it in the end!!

They should offer you your money back or another car!! Because this is just getting beyond a joke now!

Smaash it around a bit until the engine catches fire, drive towards the showroom and jump out at the last minute. Hang on, too much san andreas.

I would just take it back and ask for a refund or a cracking deal on a 182cup as you clearly have grounds for rejecting it

do what i did.

park it RIGHT in front of the doors at 7am, f**k their car park right up. leave it there and post the keys through. say u keep on doing this till its fixed.

worked for me.

Its not a battery problem is it? My brother had this problem, when you turn the key you hear a clicking noise. He got a new battery and it was sorted.

I know ya mustnt but I think its getting beyond the joke now. You must be well annoyed!
