Im looking to spend about 6-7k on my next car, and I've been amazed by some of the stuff you can get for the money.

I've seen 2008 plate BMW 320d's go for £6500 and 2005 plate Jaguar XJs with the V8 engine for for £7000.

You can pick these up for 4-5k now and believe it or not you can push 30mpg on a run, my 3.2 v6 e class has done 35mpg same engine minus the 2 extra cylinders, there bomb proof to! mine is on 200k

The market for big engined cars has taken a massive hit, Porsche cayenne turbo 14k, e55k Amg 8k (500hp), range rover sport supercharged £16k bmw m3 7-8k jag xkr 14k (cheap aston) it's crazy what you can buy.
