the 197 is a bit quiet isnt it ?

the 197 in our carpark at work drove past me last night and i was shocked how quiet it was tbh it was almost silent :S i take it it does actually get louder when you press on as otherwise you may fall asleep :quiet:

i suppose he was only doing about 20 at the time but speeding up it just sounded very very subdued

i suppose im a bit spoilt with the standard exhaust on my brabus it sounds great not too loud but you notice when you change the pressure on the accelerator

actually lusty did you know if you press the pedal all the way before you start the engine and turn it on with the pedal to the floor it will bypass the limiter and allow you to rev higher and go faster !

Limiter is 7.5k and peak power is a hundred or so rpm under that.

I thought the 197 I drove sounded absolutely crap! It was one of the (very few) things I didn't like about it.

To be fair, if you can find a 182 with as many as 800miles on the clock, the exhaust is almost always falling apart at the seams and sounds quite meaty.
