I remember my m8 having Revs on his BBC and being jealous as hell! At one point he clipped the apex and the car lifted slightly on that side. It's taken for granted these days, but back then, this was realism!

It was a shame (imo) that the intro and premise of the setting and characters (Groove Champion - ace! ) didn't transfer into making it a good game. The handling of the car itself was truly awful and easily surpassed by similar games on the PS1 like Vigilante 8.

Definitely one overdue for a remake, I reckon. Merge the backdrop of Red Dead Redemption with a revamped GTA front-end. Can't be too difficult for Rockstar to churn out.

GTR 2! This game does not get old! Still hands down the greatest racing game I have ever played.

"Driver" on the ps1, the way you could drive anything you liked and the cars handled mint, epic crashes and the way the roads would just go into the sky took ages for buildings to load, as well as drive properly or get chased!

Also Need for speed 3: hot pursuit, loved being a cop and capturing the speeders. The new one is realsed this year hopefully it will bring back more memories!
