The CDs that come with a Macbook...

... are they unique to that Macbook specifically? I.e. - if we lost them, are we shagged? Or would other CDs from other Macbooks reinstall just as well?

Haven't lost the originals (as yet!) - but just checking....

They are linked to Macbook's.. any "Macbook" CD will work on any Macbook. They aren't individual machine dependant.
