The Clio "Dribble"

  Mito Sportiva 135
Does anyone else get a dribble of water coming from their rear windows down their rear quarters on either side?!?

After washing just seems to be an infinite amount of water coming from there!! Anyone else find this on the Clio?

Nope don't get that either

Dribbles from both driver side and passenger side mirrors and thats it

It is where the water drains from the vehicle as it dries after washing... bloody annoying! Think the only ways round it are using filtered water or a quick blast straight after rinsing. Smeg.

i know the very one. i find its not as bad if you can park your car on a slope pointing downwards. as my drive way is on a slope

  ST on the way...
Yep, from the actual mirrors, under the mirror baseplates, out of the rear windows, around the sunroof, under the rear numberplate and occasionally from under the rear spoiler.

Only get it if you rinse the car PROPERLY! ;)

Has done it on every clio i've ever washed.

Yeah my car is on a fairly steep incline so might be that. Just realised the over day that it doesn't seem to happen on any other car I work on, although most I don't do at my own home so that may be it!

Not noticed those ones, runs from the mirrors and the cup spoiler - rinsed with filtered water is not an issue though! ;)

Yeah... filtered water does intrigue me, although another thing for people to take the piss about! Not sure I can live with the banter!

Hide the Aquagleam round the back of the house no one needs to know.

How long do these last for Rich... definitely a good idea just not sure I work on a volume big enough to make it worthwhile, only a weekend activity really although will be doing more over the summer...

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to have a 1.2 Dynamique.........'02 plate '02 rg........
Back in 2002, fortunately after having it a week I was reversing during heavy rain and noticed that there was water running down the inside of the pillar at the back of the rear window and dripping on to the rear seat upright.- took it to Renault and had to have the window seal replacd. Fine from then on though. Get it checked out to be safe.

Does filtered water not travel where normal water does then? Do YOU USE EVIAN OR PERRIER or a supermarket own brand????

No not on the inside!! Just on the outside... but it probably is a poor window seal design. Damn Renault!

At least it is on the outside.

Saying that though, my renault window seals went a bit kakky after onlt 2 years. Like you say though, Bloody Renault seals! My sunroof rattled and leaked a bit too. Temperamentally though. And only for a year.

Clio's are like living things. Perseverance and love and they get better.

lusty dribbles from a small crease that runs along the back bumper. Also from the corner of doors and from the rear window. Its annoying as f**k when you think its fully dry then apply wax it and you get water in with the wax and also make the microfibre wet when removing.

I sometimes take it for a quick high speed drive after drying to get the air into all the creases and fully dry it.
