The Difference Between Air Con And Climate Controll

So what is the exact difference please. will someone explain to me :approve:

Air con is the button thing, whats it do exactly, does it cool the car down and make it like a freezer or what...use more fuel.....lowest temp highest temp, hows it work etc etc

Climate controll is the lcd display thing which has a changable temp on it...

Climate control keeps the temp of the cabin at the temp you set, by moving vents, cutting in and out etc. Air con just blows at the temp you set it at.

Plus air con you can't select an actual temperature, say like 19 degrees. Can only be the red to blue line thingys (whatever they are called). Also think climate control dials look better in a car - one reason why i wish i had paid the extra for climate control in the 197 - too late now though

How? I dont have a screen or anything in my car, and theres no numbers on my dials :S

Dont say im meant to have them as well and renault have left them off my car?

No you don't, you can get your car recalled because of the air con and when they fix the air con recall, it fixes the cold start problem with the new ECU they put in it or re-map it or something. As I've got climate control they wont touch it yet as there isn't any official recall for the cold start propblem on it yet although France are looking into it aparently (this is what I'm led to believe anyway)

so a/c will keep me cold as f**k during the summer, and hot as a b**ch during the winter ?

In winter, my car keeps me warm, in summer, my car keeps me very warm.

A/C is great for keeping your screen clear in winter, clears mist very quickly........great for keeping you cool in summer
