Cheers Dan. I bought the lens yday and was my first attempt.

It's such a difficult shot to do, any slight movement on the tripod or spider and I'm buggered lol. But overall I was pleased.

It's a juvenile green woodpecker, the largest of the three resident woodpeckers and not that common to see!

Tungsten bulb with a towel over it underneath the softbox so I could see what I was doing, the other catchlights from the onboard flash on my camera dialed down 3 stops. Only used it as I needed it to trigger the flash. Should've shopped those catchlights out tbh but im lazy.
