The new heap

  Jap Box
Hey,

After the mess the last car was in I decided to get this back roadworthy and use that as the replacement :)

Here it is, 1.2 Dynamique

Needs some work to get it back on the road but should be complete within about 2 weeks hopefully :)

Yeah its in good (ish) shape

Needs the following:

1 new alloy
Cover up sunroof leak
New front hub (can be swapped over from my PH1)
New brakes all round
2 New tyres
Airbag needs to be reset
Put in replacement seat I have here for drivers side
New back belts (Will PH1 rear belts fit?)
Cambelt + Service

I think thats about it :)

Not a lot then. How much did you get it for? £10?

Should get it all fixed for under £500 anyway :)

Forget how much, ive had it sitting for two years, couldn't be bothered to repair it before but now it's going to have to have it done because I want it out of the way.

a company called crash data can reset the airbag ecu for £65 iirc, you post it to them and you get it back about a week later, if the bags are out just change them and refit the ecu no need to have a computer reset the light or nething, should be good when you get it sortd!!

Thanks for that, only the drivers seat airbag went of on the side, got a whole new seat to replace that with the airbag intact.

Bonnet is dented and could do with a clean, other than that its good.

Running this myself most likely unless I get a good offer for it :)

Will bodge the sunroof for time being, new one is around £130 as far as im aware? Ill get that fixed about 2 weeks after getting the car on the road anyway, just not priority number 1 at the moment.

Keep away from that corner ;)

I will be, illmake sure I don't miss the first turning the next time so I don't have to end up going back on myself :dapprove:

Have you re-taken your driving test yet, as you shouldn't have passed the first time? :)

Sadly no :(

LOL@Tunst, I was about to write the same, good luck getting it on the road.

Thanks :)

Best of luck,

Good polish wouldn't go a miss! Mine looks like a different colour to all the nautical blue ones around here lol.

Ha ha, will need to see how it runs for a week first, forgot to put anti freeze in the system over winter  but ive started it every few days since and nothing has gone wrong so far so hopefully nothing expanded and cracked.

Nautical blue is for champions from memory ;)

Seem a bit of a troll though. You know the OP?

Looks good. Is it a 1.2 or 1.4?

Don't have a clue who they are.

1.2 it is, can hardly afford insurance on that so wouldn't want 16v 1.4 :rasp:
