The noise!!

Help guys and girls!!!!!

Got in my car this morning, started to reverse the car all ok but as i turn the wheel i get a load judder/Rubbing noise get worse if i put the car on full lock. So bad that i did not want to drive it this morning and took the old dears VTR.

Any idea what this could be??

I was thinking some sort of belt on the power steering although i have had a look and can see nothing.

Also the car has now done 33 000 miles due for a service at 36 000 do you think it is too early to take it in for a service and have them fix this at the same time?

have you lowered it?

Mine did that the other day after i hit a hole in the road, which knocked my spring out of position causing a similar noise

one of the front wheels come in contact with the plastic. Check the front side to see if the wheel is making contact with it. It comes loose sometimes and is making this noise. Is even more of an issue if you lowered the car and put 17" rimms on it.

Cheers
