The Rat Appreciation Thread

I want this variant !

Its only a rusty bonet and grill.

Hardly "rat" compaired to the norm in the thread so far

^agreed.

It's looks hideously crap. A complete waste of time, plus within half an hour it could be put back to standard too.

People and their opinions lol... I quite like the rat style tbh. I 'appreciate' other types of modding but im not really a fan, were as this i really am!

one of the rules of rat is the crappier the better and the more rust the better

couldn't be furthur from the truth. There's as much work in doing a rat-look resto build as there is in a concourse build. I've spent hours helping get shutlines on rare buses perfect. One in particular had the both chassis legs snapped when the floorpan resto was started. Making sure you have the right original parts for the year in the right colour, artificially ageing painted repairs to blend new and old and finding rare accessories is not as easy as just stripping some paint off and waiting for the rust to come. It's an artform doing it right and most of the vehicles are exceptionally well built and cared for.

Dont like them at all :S

they look like cars murders drive in films

(Jeepers creepers, house of wax)

Yuck

lol erm some of them look good but other just look like scrap.

does this count, rat look exterior, stripped out track car interior lol
