Think i need an engine mount doing!

Ive thought it needed doing for past few weeks. I saw a dent on my bonnet this morning that looked like it had come from under the bonnet. I looked what had happened and the engine had move so much that where the throttle cabble mount thing is had moved up and dented the bonnet from the inside! Im not happy

Tell me about it! Thinkits that dog bone mount on the back so its not a dear job.

The way I thought of it with my forever breaking Valver is that the more parts you replace the better its gonna be and it should all even out soon enough, and become a reliable motor

the thing is mate, if the dogbone mounts been f**ked for a while, it will have damaged the other mounts by putting more stress on them. Thats what i found and ended up replacing all 3.

im thinking of replacing my other two mounts, are GFS alright or should i go to renault ??

Go to renault - i did all three this weekend and the difference was fantastic- they are all dead cheap and very easy to fit - just follow the holy haynes bible and you will be fine!

yep engine mounts r nice and cheap, £10-25 i think

nothin 2 bad 2 worry about £££ wise
