Thinking of buying a clio...

Hi i have been thinking about buying a clio, the new model. 16v 1.4 (insurance! hehe) 3 door poss. pearlescent black... ive got an ibiza at the moment but fancy a change.. would this be a good buy? also how much do u think id be paying for a standard one? i dont want alloys etc as i will do all that myself... any advise would be great. thanks

best advice i would give you is to buy second hand. You could get a low mileage 1.4 or 1.6 16v for a lot less then new (i saw some for around £6.5k when i bought mine) and you wont lose £2k as soon as you drive it away!

if i were to do it again id defo buy second hand

oh yeh sorry definitely want one second hand, as long as the milage is low and the car wont need everything replaced a couple of months down the line. i had a look on autotrader but there werent many nice onse i could see.

Well if you get a loaded one its quite a lot of car for your money. My car has constantly gone wrong though and despite the usual renault enthusiastic handling and peppy engine i wouldnt push someone to get a Renault over anything else..
