The milage is under 50k and requires a service .

How much do you think i should be paying if he gets the service done or how much without the service??

Be about 4k from a garage imo. Or if you forget about the service, knock him down as much as possible, then take it to Birchdown

My biggest regret not buying one with AC. Never bothered me before, but having a car with AC with it fitted on my 182/197, i really miss it. Ah well, few weeks and its the end of summer lol

There were silver cups without climate/ac too; actually more without than with iirc

There was also a hundred or so Mondial's with climate/ac

Yeah I had a 'non AC / clinate' Silver Cup. Wasn't sure what they came with.

I'm hoping to pop to the airfield Rob; will only be spectating but be good to see some old faces!

Depends how you look at it. I paid 4k for mine last October when Cups seemed to hold a good premium. Main things that were important for me were low mileage, fsh and low owner numbers. If its the car you want, you get it, simples. On here it appears you can get a good Cup for 3k, you cant. (i know) If your as fussy as me you're looking high 3, early 4's if its properly mint. I'd offer him 4k if its super clean, if he doesn't accept, walk away.
