hi

my 172 does many strange things but this one i just cant work out and im hoping the king of clios can help! (edde)

sometimes when cranking my engine the fuel level will give a correct reading then drop to zero on the dashboard as the car fires up creating my trip computer to resets to 000000000000mpg 000000000mph 000000000etc has anyone had the same problem, is it just an easy sensor to replace? its not really that important just annoying!

sounds like its killing the battery due to a bad earth mine was doing it.

clean up all the earths.

As Danlp6 said check the earth but unfortunatly some dahboard have been porblems just loosing all the info like this only fix uner warently was to chnage the dash.
