Thoughts...another Engine Dynamics product

M

mini-valver

Just using the pin, yes. I have both this (although an MB one) and the MB shifter fitted. The lever itself is super stiff for road use but I find it brilliant on track. The feel is so much better and everything feels more precise BUT I did break my gearbox, lol.

i once tried fitting one to my r5 gtt with a friend who studied motorsport engineering at brooklands so in theory should be piss easy for him unfortunately it went horribley wrong, ended up shaggin something up as i could no longer select gears! Turns out he was just a spazza and generally doesnt know what he was doing.
I managed to sort it out with extensive advice off the r5 gtt forum.

Can someone remind me the steps involved in fitting the pin etc?

i know you need like a 13mm spanner and circlip pliers but was that just for the gearstick bit?

cheers

very true! With sensible use though do you think one of these would be a good alternative to using a short shift gearstick?
