Thoughts on this ph1 track car

No mention of belts although I did ask. He replies saying there not needed yet, assuming he thinks just because of the mileage rather than age. I have his postcode as I needed to get delivery quotes.

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
Are you still talking about using this as a daily buddy or towing now?? No way in this world could I drive that as a daily, even on a short commute.Novelty would soon wear off. I'd take a mildly modded 172 cup all day long if planning to use as a daily.

In reality mate, how many track days a year are you gonna do?? 3 or 4 perhaps, get a cg lock. If you're gonna be doing 10 or 12 perhaps a different story.. just my way of thinking pal. If you're gonna be trailoring, forget all this....

I can get it cheaper than that Jon. Delivery may be the issue, trying as we speak

Will be buying something like this and a cheapy. Will try and do as many days as I can

£1500? Thats a bloody bargain.

Agreed

EDIT - Also that trailer is far too cheap!!!

Looks like nasty homemade one TBH, Im not convinced its especially cheap for what it is, but certainly not dear.

If he'd take say 1700 the pair, thats a good start for someone wanting to go cheapy racing or do trackdays without needing insurance and mot etc.

Yeah was thinking that. Any one know of any companies that deliver? I can't see it being cheap from Kent to liverpool

PM Budgie mate and see who he uses. Sure it cost him about 120 to get my dead phase 1 picked up a couple of years ago, and delivered a good distance. Alternatively.......ROAD TRIP!!!!

Why not just get a train down and drive it back?
all you need to do is book it in for an MOT close to home and day insure it and its perfectly legal.

Just time scale mate. I've had a reasonable quote just. First one was a shade under 500 lol.

  330i. E30 Touring.
Shiply FTW.

Also, I used a guy called Phil. Runs A2B Motor Movers. He moved my E30 about also at much cheaper prices than anyone else and he's a top guy. Took loads of care, even though it was a tricky job. Would use him a million times over. His number is 07831 595550. Well worth a call to see when he's next going that way.

Cheers dude. Price wise at the moment is looking at 200, chances are someone will do it a tad cheaper, hopefully. I've asked for a few more pics and if there are any issues with the car. I know it's not mega money etc but I don't want a pita to begin with, plenty of time for that

  XC90, 330d, Trophy’s
Dependant on where in Kent he is, it's got to be around 250 miles up to Liverpool, so a delivery fee of £200 isn't bad atall.

I'd rather buy that exclusive that was on here for £695.

At least you can start from scratch and know that everything's been done properly.

Yeah I know lol they are easily removed can't deny that looks pretty bad with the stickers atm though lol.

Does sound pretty good although if you plan on using it for that race series a more basic one like daniel suggested might be a better and easier option.

  172, Tiguan
The fact that the cage is there and welded in saves you a small fortune. I paid more than this entire car just for my cage and fitting.
