Three buttons near the clock

Ive just bought a MK2 172

After going for a long drive and getting it home I look thru all the bits and find that the dealer has neglected to give me a drivers handbook ( assured one is now in the post! )

Ive worked out what most of the buttons do, but I am not sure what the three buttons by the clock do. I guess that they set the clock, but all other cars I have had only have 2 buttons to do this - would someone be good enough to tell me what the three buttons do?

I would also be grateful for any other important info I am missing that would be in the handbook....

I only have two buttons.

They are in a line - 1 - Blank - 2

The right button sets minutes, the left sets the hours etc. the middle "button" is just a blank.

(Thats from memory, but I think its right)

they all have 3 and the middle one does nothing.
