Throttle and service light problems

I was looking in forums for similar problems, but didn't come across anything the same to mines.

The problem occurred in two types:

1. Engine starts. OK. Put into 1st, take off, change to 2nd, and throttle drops, engine revs just if it ran on a half single cylinder (power wise). Restarting the engine sometimes helps, but the problem occurs short after.

2. The pedal seems to have its own artificial intelligence, and works as it wants, not like I want. Revs go up and down while in neutral. Sometimes acceleration the pedal stops responding at all!

Been few times in the garage, and they found faults in the throttle pedal. The change cost me £100. I hope the problem goes away.

An interesting thing is, that about 6 months ago I spoke to Renault regarding fuel consumption, and the guy asked me if I had this problem. I didn't then. But it clearly stated that Renault themselves knew about this mis function on their cars, and later I it happened.

I have a Clio mk2 ph2, 1.2 16V, 74k on the clock...

Anybody had anything like this?

firstly please dont kill yourself lol tis soo not worth it and secondly i have a similar problem doesnt sound as bad as yours but it is progesses it mite get like that, basicalli when i accelerate hard like put my foot flat to the floor, it takes a few seconds for the car to actualli jolt forward, now i duno if this is normal as it takes a few seconds for the fuel and shizzle to get into the engine and get everything working quicker or it is a fault. free bump
