Power delivery is far more instant that with a plenum/single throttle. And since torque is increased throughout the whole rev-range, they "pull" alot harder.
Any "kick" is really going to be determined by your cam profile and timing figures.
My bf who used to be on here had a 182 cup and was always banging on about getting it tuned with these throttle bodies. To cut a long story short, he got a spin in a rally tuned Clio that had all the engine mods that cost circa 10k but still did'nt give that 'push in the back' feeling. The old fool has now gone back to the continent to make some money to buy a proper fast car.
