Throttle body price

hey just a quick bit of help

how much is a new throttle body for a 172 cup? jst i get this high pitched note not very loud between about 40-60mph and i'm pretty certain its not the gearbox any more as it does it on fourth and fifth gear probably any gear just exhaust covers the noise up, so i'm thining it maybe the throttle body....

Think the one I had replaced under warrenty was about £250 for the part alone.

is it possible this cud be making the noise? its like a whine but its not the synchro meshes as it'd do it in a certain gear, shame i cant get the car going at 50 mph and look under the bonnet at the same time!
