Throttle Body????

HELP HELP HELP

Took my car to renault (arnold clark) and they want 700 for replacing a throttle body and wiring loom!!!!! robbing b@st@rds
anyone know where i can get a cheaper throttle body in scotland, can get someone i know to fit it..

You could buy a warranty (under £200) and get it replaced for free, and have the peace of mind everything else is covered too...

Otherwise, get phoning some Renault breakers.

speak to matt black of renault specialist breakers in the North of England, don't be paying Uncle Arnold that.

ah, thought of the warrenty thing, but because they know about it they said that that would be a no no. but may look into this option.
its a ('02) reg, 1.2 16v dynamique 3 door pearl back...with 76k on the clock.

warranty wont work, get the parts from Matt and get a local garage to fit them if u don't want to.

Just had a thought, could it be the ECU???
Do you's think i should clean the throttle body first and see if that works?
