personally i wouldnt, throttle response would be better on cable that DBW.

plus its not worth the hassle of setting the ecu so the DBW kit works.

Why on earth would you want to do that ?! I'd say you're better off buying a new car with one (ph2) rather than swapping though. Will be ball-ache-of-the-century.

Best thing about the Ph1s is that cable. :dapprove:

Not financially viable mate.

The ph2 doesn't run an idle control valve as the tb does it, so to do it you would have to use a ph2 throttle pedal, inlet manifold, ecu and full engine wiring loom.

So I think it would be possible it would cost a great sum so it's really not worth it imo

Ok cheers i just seem to go through throttle cables last one went stiff really quick and the plastic adjuster has just broke on my current one so im gonna have to change it again!!

Then it must be routed wrong to keep breaking mate, I've changed a few on mine but I normally get around 50k out of them before they feel notchy - they are quite fiddly to route right

And my throttle sticks at 2000 to 3000 rpm sometimes awell i think thats an isdue with the pedsl though if it does it snd i nudge it bk it stops

Its not routed where it should be both changes have been rushed engines comin out in the next few weeks for forged engine build so i might get a new one in then and route it better

Thats dirt in the tb spring and wear in the spindle - I did I guide a few years ago to fix it, have a search for it in the guides section mate

Explains why it keeps breaking dude, once done properly it will be fine :)

No worries mate, it's more wear in the spindle than dirt tbh but if done right my guide will make it 99% better
