ditz LY 182 Dec 15, 2008 #2 i've been trying to find this out for ages but nobody can give me a proper answer.. well,, i can answer your question yes you will lose cruise i dont think it can be done on standard management as you have the issue of what to wire a throttle postion sensor to,, and idle control anybody who knows if its possible thinking maybe paul at rs tuning?

stevo172-RWD ClioSport Club Member clio 172 rwd Dec 15, 2008 #3 you cant run a cable throttle on a fly-by-wire ecu (ph2 172) as the ecu does not know the thottle position (tps) also it would go to limp mode or cut off with electric fault. or more likey not start at all because the motorised thottle body is disconnected. if you use omex you can use cable throttle on a ph2 172. or mybe its possible to run a ph1 loom and ecu? hmmmmm
