Had this irritating noise on my 172 cup for quite awhile now and its starting to annoy me
It sounds like tappet noise, just changed engines due to a piston ring failure and it does it on the new engine so I can rule out it being an engine fault
Its a track car so has already had the carbon canister removed all the sound deadening, carpet inside engine bay and car
sounds like its coming from the cat/mani joint but that's not long been changed.
Any ideas what else it could be?
